If you Knew what the future held, do you think you would you really want to know? Think about that for a minute… what if it was not the future you desired. Sure we probably find out all the great things in store, but have you thought through the what if's about if you found out disappointing news? or... the worst...

How Would You Handle This?

How would you handle this information? * Do you abandon all your work to spend all your time with your family for your final days? * Do you abandon your family to devote all your time to God’s work? * set your family up so they are cared for after you are gone? * Do you lose it because you don’t want to go? * Do you go forth with what God is showing He needs from you while pleading to God? * Do exactly as God is instructing you just as He is showing you? What would you do? I think the first question here is... How do you know this is real and we're not making this up in our heads or being confused by the enemy.

Step 1: Test the Message

There is precedent (instruction for us) in the Bible for God showing his people how to handle this kind of calling if they hear from the Lord that their lives will come to an end. this has happened before and we have heard of this miracle happening where people ‘just knew’ their demise was imminent. They took action to follow the Lord's leading and prepared. However, the key here, if you ever feel this is being shown to you, is to start with ensuring you're not being fooled. if you are under fall duress or pretense, you could be stressing yourself out and living in fear for no reason. test the spirit showing you. make sure it's the Lord, there is a way to know if this is genuinely God. * did it say this to scare you? *. go you feel you will perish in fear or as a fear? *. is what God asking you to do something you can accomplish, physically? * Does God's request sound like something you could do and still give your family time to say goodbye? *. Did you test the spirit? 1 John 4:1 referenced below. * seek wise council from a trusted Mentor / Pastor God would never ask you to do anything that would isolate you or put you in a bad way with your family. so yes, while you may be asked to do something that me challenge you or push you, it's unlikely that you would be asked to do something that was so extraordinary that you would have little to no time with your friends or family or the ones you love to say goodbye. so if this 'thing' is so big / huge that you have little to no time to do anything else except answer God's request of you... you may want to seek wise council from your pastors / mentors.

Would you trust God? If god told you something was going to happen that you didn't like, would you trust Him implicitly that He had reason and purpose for whatever this was? I mean, in our every day, there’s hardly a positive without a negative. And - when does something go off without a hitch, Right? So if you knew something negative was coming, and you couldn't change it, how would you handle it? Matthew 24: 36-39 But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man." What if God showed you / told you these were your final days? And He had work for you to do before your life ended. Think about how this would impact you... Would you obey and follow the Lord's commands?

What would you do? - I Sought Wise Council

My faith has been SO TRIED lately… And I have been so overwhelmed, physically sick, emotionally drained. I felt that God was telling me this was going to happen, that I was going to perish. Maybe He was telling me I needed to write about this miracle happening in the past and how we need to have faith like a mustard seed and watch the miracles God will enact because we need to believe. God moves where His people are, where their faith leads Him. It’s not where there’s a question of if He can. It’s a question of when/how He will. Matthew 16:21-23 - From then on Jesus began to point out to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things from the elders, chief priests, and scribes, be killed, and be raised the third day. Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, "Oh no, Lord! This will never happen to You!" But He turned and told Peter, "Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me because you're not thinking about God's concerns, but man's." I was showed I needed to complete my work for Him by a certain time. Now, if God calls me to Him, I know He has reasons. And I would never question them. I prayed He did not take me home then because I believed I had so much more work to do. However, we are here at His pleasure. He has done this before in the Bible, give someone this kind of heads up… I did the research and I reached out to my mentors and shared what I was shown/told and talked it out. We then said I should test the spirit. Was it really God I was hearing from? We needed to know… because I was very scared when this happened and God would never do anything to scare. So… that was my next step! Test the spirit! I found 1 John 4:1-6 - Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already.

Test the Spirit

Testing the spirit can be challenging when it not a person - when it’s a voice in your head and presents like the Holy Spirit. The enemy will attempt to fool you, make you think you are crazy, and make you think it’s the Holy Spirit… What I can offer you based on my experience:

• God will never scare you

• God will only speak positively to you (never negatively or with fear)

• God will ONLY bring you positive things, voices, offerings

• God does not condemn, punish, judge - Read this again!!!!

• You have the authority over every spirit… you can bind each and every spirit in the name of Jesus and send them back to where they came from.

• You then need to loose in Jesus name what you need in return. When I would hear anything not of God, I immediately bind confusion and anxiety / fear and bind it to the pit of hell.

  Example of this would be like - "by the power and authority of Jesus, I bind all spirits trying to confuse or manipulate My (or whomever's) mind, I bind these spirits to the pit of hell in Jesus name. I bind condemnation, judgment, confusion, manipulation, punishment, discouragement, fear in the holy name of Jesus for He has given me authority over you. i send you out of this place with the power of God's holy name and pour Jesus' blood covering over my body right now and over this dwelling. i command you to stay away from this home. i loose peace, love hope and joy and encouragement. LOVE LOVE LOVE! JOY JOY JOY!!! in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. In His name i command the body to full mental and physical restoration now. I bind what is attacking my mind, and immediately loose the protective blood of Jesus over me and my whole family and house, and loose what i need. yes, you may feel like you look and sound crazy, but you are not fighting against something physical right now, you are fighting against principalities. Ephesians 6:12 “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, (some versions say powers), against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in the heavenly realms. The key in these cases is trying to figure out what those principalities are. So, testing the spirit - in this case, my test is - what are you giving me? I prayed… incessantly, and I also started preparing for what I was shown.

  I met with a couple of trusted mentors that i knew would be able to handle this information, learned as much as i could about this typle of spiritual education, and continued taking the steps god asked me to. I had needed conversations, I also was writing this book! I was Getting all my things started/going without compromising my family and all the other things God had already told me i should do, and I thought i heard this message again, I tested the spirit! I did have all the concerns removed that I was worried about so this gave me peace… i could hope that this was not going to happen and go forward in peace that what i thought i 'heard' was not correct... i almost immediately got 2 words confirming that this would not happen - plans were changing and people just confirming what i had heard. so it was cool.

ARMOR OF GOD

I did as the rest of Ephesians reads, if we continue on with what it was saying... This is what it looks like to put on the Armor of God Ephesians 6: 13-18 "Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.”

Hold Steadfast. Nothing Wasted!

I still loved what I learned. I loved that I was able to explore this topic and obey. A. I love that I now know I command the enemy to get behind me. I have authority over the enemy. B. I love that this brought me closer to my mentors and I was learning by drinking from a firehose! C. I became intimately familiar with understanding how to hear God’s voice and testing the spirit. D. I love that I know God will always and forever speak to you and come to you with love and peace. And WILL NEVER SCARE YOU. E. WE have authority over the enemy! it's worth saying over and over again. you command the enemy to get in line, not other way around. Please know if you think you hear God’s voice and it’s negative, judgmental, harsh, creating fear, this is NOT OF GOD. Test the Message and the spirit! We don't know what our futures hold... but we certainly do know God only wants GOOD things for us!!! if there's times that you feel you are not strong enough to do this, and you need to borrow someone's faith, reach out to your friends who you know are firm in their faith and can come along side you to help you speak against the principalities working against you. do not suffer in silence.
